The Opportunity

The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. They maintain a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment. The role requires being on your feet while working, unless on break. When not busy, you should evaluate what other tasks need completing and assist others.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure high-quality, great-tasting food is served and resolve food quality issues.
  2. Support food safety protocols, including hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time and temperature, and following safety checklists.
  3. Handle customer incidents to ensure positive experiences.
  4. Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, meetings, and schedules.
  5. Develop and cross-train front of house crew members.
  6. Assist with crew performance reviews and develop future Service Leaders.
  7. Perform office administration duties such as banking, cash handling, and paperwork.
  8. Maintain office equipment and supplies.
  9. Ensure adequate supplies are available as needed.
Qualifications
  • Ability to articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
  • Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of Food Safety and health department regulations.
  • Familiarity with office paperwork.
  • Proficiency in the primary language of the work location.
  • High school diploma.
  • Restaurant experience.
