Job summary

The role serves as the first point of contact for customers arriving for maintenance or repairs, ensuring clear communication between customers and service technicians and maintaining an organized lane. Previous customer service experience and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills including scheduling software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously as they arrive for service appointments.
• Document customer concerns and vehicle issues accurately to relay to service technicians.
• Assist in scheduling and confirming service appointments to optimize service bay utilization.
• Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to track vehicle status and update customers accordingly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service lane area to ensure a professional environment.
• Manage incoming phone calls related to service inquiries and provide accurate information or direct calls appropriately.
• Support administrative tasks such as processing service orders, filing paperwork, and maintaining customer records.
• Facilitate smooth vehicle check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
