Job summary

Rogers Electric in Greensboro, NC is seeking a talented Service Foreman to join our team. You will lead a crew of electricians on commercial projects, coordinate planning, staffing, and execution to meet contract requirements.

You’ll read drawings, manage materials, drive safety, and ensure quality control. The role requires 8+ years as an electrician and 3+ years as a foreman, with strong communication and the ability to travel up to 90%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of field experience as a commercial electrician.
• 3+ years as a foreman overseeing large electrical projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; ability to update reports.
• Willingness to travel 90%, work nights, weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Manager with planning, organization, and staffing for assigned projects.
• Analyzes bid documents and site conditions to outline scope of work and requirements.
• Identifies risks in scope of work to ensure costs are covered.
• Establishes objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards to complete scope of work per contract documents.
• Manages team of electricians, assigns daily tasks, and provides materials/equipment.
• Manages crew labor hours, material procurement, scheduling equipment, and daily production reporting.
• Leads safety meetings and ensures PPE usage by all crew members.
• Runs conduit/wire and installs/terminates devices.
• Troubleshoots and performs quality control testing.
• Conducts pre-bid surveys, kick-off meetings, progress walks, punch walks, turnover.
