Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Service Field Manager to lead the service technicians and drive operational success. You will guide strategic and tactical initiatives to meet financial and growth objectives while keeping customer satisfaction a priority.

You will collaborate with branch leadership, recruit and develop technicians, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance across all service activities. A strong emphasis on leadership and process improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in service, inspections, repairs, installs and retro-fits of Fire Alarm or other fire protection systems preferred
• Workflow/process understanding and customer-centric mentality
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and direct others
• Familiarity with NFPA standards and local codes
• NICET Level II certification preferred; strong communication skills
• Strong thinking and problem-solving abilities, prioritization and task management

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational and financial performance of the service department
• Plan annual department goals, headcount, and growth projections with branch/general manager
• Recruit, train, develop, and retain service technicians
• Provide guidance and performance reviews for staff
• Maintain safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance
• Coordinate with other teams to optimize service operations
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
• Drive cost efficiency and service quality improvements
