Job summary

Avinext in College Station, TX is seeking a Service Coordinator to act as the operational hub of the Service Department. You will coordinate service requests from receipt through scheduling, completion, and billing, working closely with customers and technicians to prioritize tickets and keep service moving.

• HS diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in service coordination, dispatch, customer service, scheduling, operations, or similar roles preferred.
• Excellent organizational and follow-through skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for customers requesting service.
• Receive and process service requests via walk-ins, phone, email, and the service-management system.
• Gather information to create clear and actionable service tickets.
• Prioritize, schedule, assign, and dispatch service requests to technicians.
• Monitor technician availability and adjust schedules as needs change.
• Keep customers informed on scheduling, progress, delays, and updates.
• Ensure tickets have accurate statuses, notes, and documentation.
• Support billing by reviewing completed tickets for readiness and invoicing.
