Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with Python may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
• We Prefer Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Outlook) and experience managing projects, schedules, deliverables, or budgets.

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session from May/June to December, including the Fall semester.
• Gather field data, assist in root cause analysis, corrective action plans, and implementation of service bulletins.
• Address issues related to in-service aircraft and component repair; document and communicate technical information to stakeholders.
• Develop and verify training materials used in OEM/operator training classes; update technical service engineering documentation.

What You Will Do

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June–December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity). Gather field data, assist in root cause analysis, corrective action plans, and implementation of service bulletins. Address issues related to in-service aircraft and component repair. Document and communicate technical information to technical/non-technical stakeholders. Develop and verify training materials used in OEM/operator training classes. Validate and update technical service engineering documentation. Help ensure product enhancements/improvements are complete and accurate through review of engineering data and implementation instructions.

Qualifications

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session. Experience with Python Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
