RTX is seeking a full-time co-op/internship in Cedar Rapids, IA to join a team of Software and Systems engineers. You will design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems integrated into military platforms.

The program runs January–August, requiring full engagement and potential for future opportunities. Candidates must have a STEM degree by start date and experience with C/C++, ADA, and/or Python.

What You Will Do

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity). Work within a team of Software and Systems engineers to design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems that are integrated into military helicopters and planes Integrate soft skills (leadership, communication, coordination, proactiveness) into a dynamic environment that provides quality and timely products to internal and external customers.

Qualifications You Must Have

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
