What You Will Do

• Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June- December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
• Gather field data, assist in root cause analysis, corrective action plans, and implementation of service bulletins.
• Address issues related to in-service aircraft and component repair.
• Document and communicate technical information to technical/non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and verify training materials used in OEM/operator training classes.
• Validate and update technical service engineering documentation.
• Help ensure product enhancements/improvements are complete and accurate through review of engineering data and implementation instructions.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with Python
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Outlook)
• Experience managing projects, schedules, deliverables, or budgets
• Experience working on cross-functional teams
• A minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session
• Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience

Relocation Eligibility

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader. Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
