Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a Service Engineer in Barstow, TX to provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for diverse systems. The role is contract-based and requires hands-on problem solving to ensure equipment reliability.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and deliver on-site and remote support, documenting all activities and collaborating with engineering teams to improve performance. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in a service engineering or technical support role.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Willingness to travel as required for on-site support.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients and team members.
• Document service activities, including repairs, upgrades, and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance and reliability.
• Train clients and team members on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
