Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited seeks a Microsoft 365 Engineer to lead tenant-to-tenant migrations, delivering secure, scalable transformations across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams.

You will design, plan, and execute migrations with a strong emphasis on Azure AD, Purview, MFA, and governance, while supporting pre-sales scoping and multi-project delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering Microsoft 365 solutions and tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Strong expertise across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Azure AD, Endpoint Management, and security solutions.
• Experience with migration tools such as Quest, BitTitan MigrationWiz, ShareGate, AvePoint, or similar.
• PowerShell scripting experience.
• Experience supporting pre‑sales solution design and technical scoping.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast‑paced environments.
• Microsoft certifications (MS-900, MS-700, MS-100/101 or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead tenant-to-tenant migrations; assess environments, develop migration strategies, timelines, and risk mitigation plans.
• Execute migrations across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Google Workspace to M365.
• Ensure data integrity, minimal downtime, and secure identity transitions.
• Migrate and configure Azure AD users, groups, roles, and authentication policies.
• Validate governance, compliance, retention, and security configurations post-migration.
• Provide troubleshooting, documentation, and pre/post-migration support.
• Deploy and migrate Microsoft Teams (including voice and collaboration workloads).
• Implement security and compliance solutions including Purview, DLP, eDiscovery, Conditional Access, and MFA.
• Configure identity solutions including Azure AD sync, SSO, and passwordless authentication.
• Support Intune, Windows Autopilot, and endpoint management initiatives.
• Design backup, disaster recovery, governance frameworks, and adoption strategies.
