Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Microsoft 365 Cloud Engineer to administer and optimize Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID services. You will support incident resolution, design integrations, and evaluate AI productivity tools while aligning with security and compliance goals.

The role emphasizes documentation, metric reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams under senior leadership direction.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Microsoft 365 and Entra ID services, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, MFA, SSO, and related collaboration technologies
• Resolve Level III incidents and service requests through ServiceNow
• Provide subject matter expertise for Exchange Online administration, support, and troubleshooting
• Assess technical needs, document requirements, and support the design of Microsoft 365 solutions
• Support the evaluation, administration, and responsible adoption of AI productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot and Claude
• Prepare and deliver monthly cloud operations metrics
• Evaluate, test, and apply critical updates regularly

Job description

• Administer and configure Microsoft 365 and Entra ID services, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, MFA, SSO, and related collaboration technologies
• Resolve Level III incidents and service requests through ServiceNow
• Provide subject matter expertise for Exchange Online administration, support, and troubleshooting
• Assess technical needs, document requirements, and support the design of Microsoft 365 solutions
• Support the evaluation, administration, and responsible adoption of AI productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot and Claude
• Prepare and deliver monthly cloud operations metrics
• Evaluate, test, and apply critical updates regularly
• Integrate new solutions into existing infrastructure and support deployments
• Assess technologies, tools, and services and recommend improvements based on security, compliance, financial, and operational considerations
• Develop troubleshooting guidance and operational documentation for support teams
• Support audit activities by providing operational evidence and documentation
• Assist with cybersecurity investigations as required
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams, profit centers, Service Desk, and Level 2 Microsoft 365 support staff augmentation
• Report to the M365 Cloud Services Manager and work under senior leadership direction
