Job summary

Mindray Animal Medical is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support for In-Vitro Diagnostics medical devices. Responsibilities include installation, failure diagnosis, customer training, and travel for project execution.

The role requires a Bachelor's in electronic biomedical, 3+ years of relevant experience, and strong English communication. Travel flexibility and familiarity with medical electronics are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electronic biomedical or related field.
• 3+ years' experience with In-Vitro Diagnostics medical devices.
• Familiar with procurement and repair processes for local medical organizations.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel for short-term assignments and field service.

Responsibilities

• Handle complaints / malfunction claims from customers (distributors, end users).
• Provide efficient technical support to customers, sales & marketing colleagues.
• On-site support for important projects, including installation and complex system/equipment failure diagnosis and repairing.
• On-site visits to collect customer feedback and market information.
• Repair and maintain main units returned from customers.
• Provide service training to customers.
• Negotiate service contracts, ordering, logistics & admin tasks.
• Submit routine reports and travel reports to supervisor and attend product technical update meetings.
• Assist stock management for parts stock & equipment management.
• Investigate local authorities and regulations regarding service, including registers and reporting.

Location: Close to New Jersey is preferred

What you will be responsible for:

• Handle complaints / malfunction claims from customers (distributors, end users).
• Provide efficient technical support to customers, sales & marketing colleagues.
• On-site support for important project / case (including installation, complex system / equipment failure diagnosis and repairing).
• On-site visit to the field to collect customer feedback and market information.
• Repair and maintain main units returned from customers.
• Service training to customers.

• Routine report & business trip report to supervisor and attend products technical update meeting.
• Assist stock management admin for parts stock & equipment managements.
• Investigation on the local authority & regulation regarding service including register, reporting etc.

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree or above, major in electronic biomedical or relevant professional category is preferred.
• At least more than 3 years' relevant work experience with In-Vitro Diagnostics medical devices.
• Familiar with the procurement process of local medical organizations, on-line maintenance and repair processes.
• Understand the industry related charging standards.
• Technical support work experience will be a plus.
• Good command of both written and spoken English, non-obvious local accent.
• Skilled use of computers and office software capabilities.
• Familiar with medical electronics product and clinical application, experienced in the maintenance of medical electronic products.
• Local driver's license, suitable for flexible travel, and can adapt to the short-term missions.
