Job summary

BCES Global is a North American electrical contracting platform seeking experienced Commercial Service Electricians to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex commercial electrical systems in active facilities across Maryland. Qualifications

• Active Maryland Journeyman Electrician License or reciprocal.
• Commercial electrical service and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair commercial electrical systems independently.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Respond to commercial service calls and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems and equipment.
• Install, replace, and upgrade panels, breakers, transformers, switchgear, lighting, motor controls, and power distribution equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, testing, and electrical inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
• Build strong customer relationships by providing professional, high-quality service.
• Complete service documentation accurately and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

WHAT YOU BRING

• Active Maryland Journeyman Electrician License or the ability to obtain one through reciprocity.
• Commercial electrical service and troubleshooting experience.
• Proven ability to independently diagnose and repair commercial electrical systems.
• Experience working directly with customers in occupied commercial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, panelboards, lighting, lighting controls, motor controls, and power distribution systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
