Job summary

BCES Global seeks an experienced Commercial Service Electrician to join its Maryland operations. You will respond to commercial service calls, troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems, and perform preventive maintenance.

You’ll read blueprints and install panels, breakers, switchgear, and lighting, while maintaining strong customer relations and adhering to safety standards. This role offers an overtime-enabled schedule, a take-home company vehicle, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Journeyman Electrician license or reciprocity.
• Commercial electrical service and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience working directly with customers in occupied commercial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of three-phase systems, switchgear, transformers, and power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Respond to commercial service calls and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems and equipment.
• Install, replace, and upgrade panels, breakers, transformers, switchgear, lighting, and motor controls.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Complete service documentation accurately and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Follow all Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and company safety standards.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Active Maryland Journeyman Electrician License or the ability to obtain one through reciprocity.
• Commercial electrical service and troubleshooting experience.
• Proven ability to independently diagnose and repair commercial electrical systems.
• Experience working directly with customers in occupied commercial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, panelboards, lighting, lighting controls, motor controls, and power distribution systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
• Strong understanding of the Electrical Code (NEC).
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification .
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
