Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM | Monday - Friday

We are seeking an organized, dependable, and customer-focused Service Dispatcher to coordinate daily service calls for our HVAC and Plumbing team. The Service Dispatcher will serve as the main point of contact between customers, technicians, and the office, ensuring service requests are scheduled efficiently and customers receive timely, professional communication.

Job Duties

• Answer incoming customer calls and respond to service requests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Schedule and dispatch HVAC and plumbing technicians to residential and commercial service locations.
• Prioritize service calls based on urgency, customer needs, technician availability, and location.
• Communicate with technicians throughout the day regarding schedules, job updates, and customer needs.
• Keep customers informed of technician arrival times and any changes to their appointments.
• Create and maintain accurate service orders, customer information, and job notes.
• Monitor technician schedules and adjust appointments as needed throughout the day.
• Coordinate emergency and same-day service calls when necessary.
• Follow up with customers regarding completed service calls, scheduling, and outstanding issues.
• Communicate pricing, service information, and basic company policies to customers.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Additional customer service, business, or office training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide professional, courteous, and solution-focused customer service.
• Experience using computers, business software, and data entry systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to professionalism, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service, call center, retail, office support, or administrative experience is preferred.
• Experience working with CRM software, order processing systems, or customer databases is beneficial.
• Bilingual communication skills may be considered an asset depending on the position.
• Individuals who demonstrate patience, professionalism, adaptability, and excellent communication skills are well positioned for success as a Service Dispatcher.
• Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, customer service, HVAC, plumbing, construction, or a related service industry preferred.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while assisting customers.
• Frequent use of computers, telephones, and standard office equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and business partners.
• Ability to perform repetitive keyboard and data entry tasks throughout the workday.
