Job summary

Opportunity Interactive in Michigan is seeking an organized Service Dispatcher to coordinate daily schedules for field technicians, balance service commitments, and deliver an excellent customer experience.

You will evaluate technician availability, communicate updates to customers, and provide logistical support to the team. The role is Monday–Friday with competitive hourly pay and benefits in a family-friendly, professional office.

Qualifications

• At least two years of customer service experience.
• Dispatching or scheduling experience preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, construction, or other skilled-trade background is a plus.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• ServiceTitan experience preferred.

HVAC Dispatcher

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Position Overview

The Service Dispatcher coordinates the daily schedules of field technicians and helps ensure customer appointments and service commitments are met. This position serves as an important link between customers, technicians, and the office team. The ideal candidate can quickly evaluate technician availability, skill level, job requirements, and location to make effective scheduling decisions. You will also communicate service updates to customers, provide logistical support to technicians, and help ensure each day operates efficiently and cost-effectively.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• At least two years of customer service experience
• Previous dispatching, project coordination, or scheduling experience preferred
• HVAC, plumbing, construction, or other skilled-trade experience is a plus
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Careful attention to detail when reviewing schedules and documentation
• Ability to confidently manage a multi-line phone system
• Familiarity with the local service area or strong map-reading skills
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive approach with the confidence to recognize what needs to be done and take action
• ServiceTitan experience preferred
