Job summary

Sila Boston is seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to keep technicians moving and customers informed in a fast-paced service environment. You will support a busy schedule with a strong team, modern tools, and opportunities for growth within a locally focused company.

The role requires organizing daily dispatches, prioritizing emergencies, and communicating clearly with customers and field teams to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dispatching experience preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or home services dispatch experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple technicians and calls at once.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch technicians to service calls based on location, skill set, priority, and customer needs.
• Manage and adjust the daily service schedule throughout the day.
• Monitor technician progress and keep calls moving efficiently.
• Communicate schedule changes and arrival updates to customers.
• Work closely with technicians, CSRs, managers, and field leadership.
• Prioritize emergency and high-priority calls.
• Help maximize technician productivity and minimize drive time.
• Maintain accurate notes and job information in the dispatching system.
• Respond quickly when schedules change, calls run long, or emergencies arise.
• Support customers and field teams in a fast-paced service environment.
