Kanawha Scales & Systems (KSS) is hiring a Service Coordinator to support our Ohio operations in Harrison, OH. You will coordinate service activities, support field technicians, and ensure high levels of customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This role serves as a key support function for the Service Manager. A strong scheduling mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work with ERP, Word, and Excel are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven initiative and positive attitude.
• Highly dependable and reliable.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Strong computer skills including ERP systems, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Field all service-related phone calls and efficiently schedule technicians to complete all required service work, tasks and preventative maintenance contracts.
• Notify customers in advance to maintain our service schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service requests, work orders, and client communication; Allocate and schedule service technicians based on skill set, availability and geographic location to optimize service delivery and minimize response time.
• Create SO’s (service orders).
• Order necessary parts to fulfill service jobs and replenish inventory.
• Ensure job tickets include correct pricing information to support timely and accurate customer invoicing.
• Maintain comprehensive service records, including ISO documentation and calibration certificates.
• Request POs from customers when necessary.
• Manage and update the technician call-out schedule to ensure appropriate coverage.
