Job summary

Kanawha Scales & Systems, LLC is seeking a Service Coordinator to support our Ohio operations in Columbus, OH. The role coordinates service activities, supports field technicians, and ensures high levels of customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The position reports to the Service Manager and requires a high school diploma, reliability, and basic computer skills. Regular hours are Monday–Friday, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven initiative and positive attitude.
• Highly dependable and reliable.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Basic computer and software proficiency.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Strong multitasking ability.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Service-related or dispatch background.

Responsibilities

• Field incoming service-related phone calls and schedule technicians.
• Coordinate service work, maintenance contracts, and call-out schedules.
• Provide customers with friendly, professional support.
• Proactively notify customers to maintain service schedules.
• Ensure accurate pricing and job ticket information for invoicing.
• Order parts and manage shipping and receiving activities.
• Maintain records including ISO docs, vehicle maintenance, and training.
• Support service operations as backup to the Service Manager.
