Job summary

Kanawha Scales & Systems (KSS) in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Service Coordinator to support our Ohio operations. You will coordinate service activities, support field technicians, and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, serving as a key support function for the Service Manager.

The role is a full-time position based in Columbus with standard hours and opportunities for growth within a growing organization that values customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven initiative and positive attitude.
• Highly dependable and reliable.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Basic computer and software proficiency.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Field incoming service-related phone calls and efficiently schedule technicians
• Coordinate service work, preventative maintenance contracts, and call-out schedules
• Provide customers with friendly, professional support
• Proactively notify customers to maintain service schedules
• Ensure accurate pricing and job ticket information for timely invoicing
• Order parts and manage shipping and receiving activities
• Maintain accurate records, including ISO documentation, vehicle maintenance, and training records
• Support service operations as backup to the Service Manager
