Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Service Desk Technician in Austin, TX for a 6-month engagement. You will join the Global Support team to resolve hardware and software issues, field calls, emails, and in-person requests, and mentor junior Technicians.

You will install, repair, and maintain PCs, troubleshoot failures, and assist with deployments in a fast-paced environment. US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience using and supporting computers (hardware and software).
• Basic understanding and ability to troubleshoot Windows (Mac is a plus).
• Proven skills in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Field telephone calls, email, or in person appointments to troubleshoot and diagnose issues across hardware, software, virtual/cloud, and infrastructure.
• Perform installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computers and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware failures.
• Identify network problems related to personal computers.
• Provide technical support, training, process creation and participate in projects.
• Serve as a local leader and mentor to junior Technicians.
