Job summary

Dow Credit Union is seeking a Service Desk Representative/Greeter to be the first point of contact for members and visitors. You will greet people professionally, connect them to the right team, and assist with basic financial questions and transactions, while maintaining a welcoming environment.

This full-time role offers starting pay of $15.50 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), paid holidays, and PTO. Training is provided to ensure top-notch member service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills across channels.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and protect confidential information.
• Up to six months of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage members/visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Connect visitors to the appropriate person or department and inform them about wait times and options.
• Communicate through face-to-face, email, phone, written, and video channels.
• Assist with ATM transactions, coin machine operations, and general inquiries.
• Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining reports, sorting mail, and handling member documents.
• Participate in the Quick Response Team and assist in emergencies; training includes first aid, CPR, AED, weather/accident protocols.

As the first point of contact for members and visitors, the Service Desk Representative serves as a welcoming guide, ensuring every interaction is professional, positive, and helpful. This role is essential in creating an exceptional experience by connecting visitors to the right team members or departments to assist with financial questions, transactions, and goals.
