Job summary

Wauna Credit Union in Warrenton, OR seeks a friendly lobby associate to greet members, handle transactions, and answer questions. This introductory role uses The Member Advantage™ principles to provide hip-to-hip, consultative service and to refer products and services as appropriate.

The position is non-exempt; requires high school diploma and at least one year of cash or customer contact experience; opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • At least one year of experience dealing with cash or general public contacts.
  • Ability to greet and assist members using consultative, Member Advantage principles.
  • Willingness to work a Monday-Saturday schedule, including evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and serve members in the lobby using The Member Advantage™ sales and service principles.
  • Assist members with transactions, deposits, loans, and related services.
  • Refer Wauna Credit Union products and services to members to help meet CU goals.
  • Elevate complaints, member-related concerns, policy questions, and account problems to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience dealing with cash and/or general public contacts.

  • Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Exposed to hazard of robbery (training provided to minimize risk). Works near moving mechanical parts of standard office equipment. Occasional exposure to common chemicals used within an office.
  • Work Hours: This job can typically be done within a Monday thru Saturday schedule; however, based on events, there will be times when evening and weekend work is required with little or no notice.
