You will hire and coach staff, set department goals, manage budgets, and collaborate with parts and sales to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining safety and shop efficiency at our Salem location.

• 3-5 years of experience in an equipment dealership setting.
• Finance/budget management experience and staff mentorship.
• Proficiency with CDK, dealer work order systems, MS Office and Excel.
• Experience with heavy equipment and similar customer base preferred.
• Ability to lead by example and promote James River Equipment culture.

Responsabilidades

• Optimizes the service department processes to improve customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Supports service team through hiring, coaching and retaining key talent while setting department goals and helping the team achieve them.
• Creates annual Service Department goals, budget and marketing plan and monitors progress.
• Negotiates service policy settlements, manages WIP and pending work, analyzes rework and takes corrective action.
• Collaborates on best practices, implements common processes, and ensures shop and yard safety.
