Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for training and staff development.
• Ability to manage customer expectations and lead direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company policies and procedures with the service manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Help achieve service department budget goals and objectives.
• Assist in controlling operating expenses.
• Direct day-to-day activities of service department employees.
• Produce estimates for charges necessary for repairs for customers.
• Assist in training and evaluating service department employees.
• Ensure a high-quality level of service for our customers.
• Provide technical assistance to service staff.
• Enforce safety requirements (forklift training and PPE).
• Understand and comply with applicable regulations.
• Maintain professional appearance of staff and department.
• Carry out disciplinary actions as needed.
• Review monthly productivity with staff.
• Conduct monthly department safety inspections.
• Lead monthly department meetings.
• Assist in hiring new personnel as needed.
