Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Service Department Shop Foreman to supervise daily shop operations in a high-volume automotive service environment in North Carolina. You will provide technical leadership, assign work based on technician skill, and assist with complex diagnostics while coordinating productivity and training.

The role requires strong leadership, diagnostics expertise, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Two or more years automotive repair/diagnostic experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
• Ability to read repair manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the daily workflow of service technicians.
• Assist technicians with difficult diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
• Monitor repair quality and conduct final inspections as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment.
• Mentor and train technicians; participate in manufacturer training.
