Job summary

Ag-Pro Companies in Florida is seeking a service department administrator to assist the service manager in maintaining accurate reports and on-time records for the department’s operation. The role focuses on accurate data entry and timely processing of service orders.

You will field customer inquiries, open and track work orders, maintain the service library, update customer profiles, and prepare replacement orders in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of accounting practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Familiarity with general office procedures.
• Understanding of mechanical/technical terms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fields internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department.
• Opens work orders as directed by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman and maintains control until they are closed and invoiced.
• Maintains the service library with current information under the direct supervision of the Service Manager.
• Maintains Service Department filing and records.
• Updates customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders.
• Maintains accessories and supplies and prepares replacement orders.
• May process warranty and/or product improvement claims including the computation of charges, submission and follow-up.
• And other duties as assigned.
