Torikami in Maxwell, Singapore, is seeking passionate individuals for a guest-centric service role. Welcome guests, take reservations, explain the Yakitori menu, and provide recommendations for drinks.

You will service skewers and beverages with professionalism, manage tables, and support the kitchen team to ensure an excellent dining experience. Applicants should have at least 3 years in F&B, strong English communication, and be outgoing and reliable in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in F&B or hospitality is required.
• Good spoken English; multi-language ability beneficial (Japanese/Mandarin helpful).

• Guest Relations: Welcome and seat guests with a warm smile, take reservations, and manage floor flow.
• Order Taking: Explain the Yakitori menu and suggest drinks to guests.
• Food & Beverage Service: Serve skewers and drinks promptly with professionalism.
• Table Management: Clear tables, reset for next seating, keep dining area pristine.
• Cashiering: Handle billing and payments using the POS system.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with Kitchen Crew and Chefs for a smooth dining experience.

Location

Maxwell, Singapore (Central Region, near MRT)

Salary & Benefits

Working Hours

• 5.5-day work week (44 hours)

• Shift-based schedule, including weekends and public holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Relations: Welcome and seat guests with a warm smile, taking reservations, and managing the floor flow

• Order Taking: Explain the Yakitori menu (different chicken parts) and recommend drinks (Sake, Shochu, Beer) to guests

• Food & Beverage Service: Serve skewers and drinks promptly while maintaining a high level of professionalism

• Table Management: Clearing tables, resetting for the next seating, and ensuring the dining area is pristine at all times

• Cashiering: Handle billing and payment transactions accurately using our POS system

• Teamwork: Work closely with the Kitchen Crew and Chefs to ensure a smooth dining experience

Requirements

• Experience: At least 3 years experience in F&B or hospitality

• Communication: Good spoken English. (Ability to communicate in additional languages, including Japanese and Mandarin, will be beneficial as the role involves interacting with customers from diverse backgrounds.)

• Personality: Outgoing, proactive, and passionate about providing excellent customer service

• Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
