Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Service Coordinator I to support Edgewood Village and Elk Riverview Terrace, two senior apartment communities in Richwood and Weber Springs, WV. This full-time role (35 hours/week) offers a $19/hour pay and a rotating schedule between buildings.

You will organize resident programs, advocate for services, liaise with community agencies, and build a resource directory to connect residents with care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Two or more years of experience delivering social services to elderly and/or family populations preferred.
• Working knowledge of supportive services and local community resources.
• Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve, and deliver measurable results for residents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programs and activities for residents.
• Serve as a liaison to community agencies, network with service providers, and seek out new services.
• Identify low-cost service providers and negotiate discounts.
• Engage residents to identify needs and refer to community agencies.
• Develop a Resource Directory of state/local service providers.
• Sponsor educational events on health care, life skills, and referrals.
• Provide quality customer service and assist residents with basic needs.
• Monitor and relay feedback from residents and families.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders using professional communication.
