Job summary

Sterling Commercial Roofing, a Tecta America company, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Coordinator to join our team. The Service Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely records for the Service Department, handling work orders, warranties, and customer communications.

The role supports the Service Group with paperwork, maintains databases, tracks estimates and change orders, and coordinates meetings with field technicians.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years recent facilities services administrative experience, preferably in construction.
• Excellent Microsoft skills (Word & Excel); Outlook experience a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills for internal and external customers.
• Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain a flexible, positive attitude toward assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support in day-to-day processing of Work Orders, Billings, Proposals, Purchase Orders, Reports, etc.
• Prepare and proof documents and correspondence (work orders, letters, memos, faxes, transmittals, reports, submittals, RFIs).
• Maintain databases of service files and logs for document control and refrigeration management.
• Track estimates, change orders, submittals, equipment releases, RFIs and manuals.
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure work orders are opened and closed properly.
• Schedule meetings or appointments and communicate required paperwork to field technicians.
