Job summary

Tecta America East LLC – Jessup Location is seeking a Service Coordinator to support the Service Manager, Director, Superintendent and field crews from our Jessup, MD office. You will interface with customers, manage accounts, and coordinate scheduling to ensure timely service delivery.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years in service, roofing, or customer service. Proficiency with Navision and Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus.
• Minimum of three (3) years of service department, commercial roofing, and/or customer service experience.
• Strong planning, organizing, problem-resolution and multi-tasking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must have valid driver's license and pass background/drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain customer accounts; input into Navision; update accounts as required.
• Resolve service issues by assessing problems, selecting best solutions, expediting corrections, and following up.
• Develop and maintain business relationships to grow Tecta's bidding pool.
• Attend trade events and meetings to grow industry connections.
• Process accounts receivable/payable to maintain fiscal wellness of the service department.
• Manage daily/weekly field schedules and on-call off-hours coverage.
• Assist with service documents and customer communications as needed.

We are seeking a Service Coordinator for our Jessup MD location.

The Service Coordinator will be responsible for interfacing with the Service Manager, Service Director, Service Superintendent, and field crews. Provide comprehensive support to all team members by effectively communicating and responding to customer needs.

Job Functions (includes):

• Opens and maintains customer accounts by recording account information and inputting into Navision and updating account information as required.
• Resolves service department/customer issues by assessing the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
• Develop and maintain business relationships to broaden Tecta’s bidding pool.
• Attend trade events, lunch-and-learn seminars, and trade organization meetings to further develop trade industry relationships.
• Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
• Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
• Investigate and resolve problems relating to all areas of responsibility, gather and analyze information and take proper course of action.
• Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as required to maintain fiscal wellness of service department.
• Develop the daily and weekly field schedule, along with managing the off-hours on-call schedule.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree a plus.
• Minimum of three (3) years of service department, commercial roofing, and/or customer service experience.
• Critical skills include planning & organizing; problem identification/resolution, attention to detail, multi-tasking, follow-through, priority setting, and accomplishing tasks in a timely manner.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
• Prior commercial roofing experience a plus but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to clearly convey concepts, assumptions, and thought patterns used to develop servce documents.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment Background Check, Drug Test and be E-Verified.

Salary starting at $65,000 and up, dependent upon experience.
