PhysioKC Physical Therapy
Service Coordinator Job in Leawood, KS
PhysioKC Physical Therapy is hiring for a service coordinator job in Leawood, KS, and we are looking for a friendly, organized person who enjoys helping people. You will be the first person patients meet and the first voice they hear on the phone. You will welcome them, schedule their appointments, and keep the daily details of the clinic running smoothly. Along the way you will use basic medical terms, follow clinic procedures, and help with scheduling, billing, charts, forms, and other paperwork. Your work shapes the patient-centered experience that every person who walks through our door deserves.
Care That Feels Personal at Our Leawood Clinic
Our tagline is "Move, Heal & Thrive," and the front desk is where that promise begins. PhysioKC is a calm, boutique alternative to a traditional clinic. Patients are seen in private rooms and receive one-on-one attention, without crowded gyms or rushed sessions. They come to us with back pain and sciatica, sports injuries, joint pain, balance concerns, and recovery after surgery. Many are active adults and older adults who want to keep doing what they love.
Because the care is individual, the details around it matter. A confirmed appointment, a clear answer about insurance, and a warm greeting all help patients arrive at ease and focus on getting better. As our service coordinator, you will make sure they do.
You will work alongside a team of doctors of physical therapy who offer manual therapy, dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, and strength and conditioning. Their days run more smoothly because of the work you do, and patients notice when the front office runs well. It is a good place to learn how a clinic works from the inside while supporting people through recovery.
You will greet visitors and direct them to the right person or area, answer phone calls, take messages, and keep patients and staff connected. You will schedule and confirm appointments, help with basic intake and insurance details, and handle routine paperwork, including updating patient charts and sending or receiving forms and medical records. You will also help with simple billing, payment, and insurance forms, keep office supplies stocked and organized, and pitch in with light cleaning and clinic laundry so the space stays welcoming.
You will also help train our rehabilitation technicians on front office tasks at their home location. We describe ourselves as a community of dedicated professionals, and we offer ongoing education and development. If you are willing to learn new information and enjoy working alongside others, you will find plenty of support here.
If you enjoy helping people feel at ease from the moment they walk in, we would love to hear from you. Come see what our private, one-on-one approach to care looks like from the front desk.
