Walser Automotive Group is seeking a Service Coordinator for our Wichita MINI location. You will greet customers at the service drive, answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist technicians with vehicle transfers and repair orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 0-9 months experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience working with a high level of urgency.
• Strong communications skills both verbal and written.
• Experience interacting with customers and providing a positive experience.
• High level of detail orientation and accuracy.
• Beginner to intermediate level of technical proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Proven experience working within a team environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the service drive and act as the face of Walser service.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Call recalls to gain appointments.
• Perform vehicle walk-arounds, record mileage and VIN, and write repair orders.
• Understand basic automotive repairs, time estimates, and repair costs.
• Serve as liaison between technicians and customers and set clear expectations.
• Stage vehicles and shuttle customers as needed.
• Assist service department by moving vehicles and keeping drive aisles clear.
• Run vehicles through automatic wash.
