Job summary

Minnesota Coaches LLC is seeking an Assistant Service Center Manager to support the Service Center Manager in overseeing daily operations of a service center. The role coordinates procedures across departments, helps ensure safety standards, and assists with route budget management.

You will work closely with drivers and transportation staff, implement policies, monitor performance, and step in for the Service Center Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• 3-5 years' experience in the transportation or related operations industry.
• Leadership experience with the ability to guide and motivate teams.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of industry safety practices and familiarity with state and federal transportation regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Kenyon Average Pay Rate 65000

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing transportation operations for the service center
• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of transportation policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations under the guidance of the Service Center Manager
• Assist in supervising, training, and coaching transportation staff
• Conduct safety checks and support corrective action initiatives
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth route operations
• Assist in monitoring route budgets and tracking expenditures
• Support relationship management with transportation vendors and stakeholders
• Step in for the Service Center Manager as needed for meetings, communications, and operational oversight
