Job summary

Reliant Shared Services, LLC is seeking an Assistant Service Center Manager to support the Service Center Manager in overseeing daily operations at our Minnesota service center. You will help coordinate procedures, ensure safety standards, monitor budgets, and collaborate with drivers, staff, and stakeholders to uphold service excellence.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in transportation/related operations, strong leadership, and solid knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in transportation or related operations.
• Leadership experience with the ability to guide and motivate teams.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of industry safety practices and familiarity with state and federal transportation regulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing transportation operations for the service center.
• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of transportation policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations under the guidance of the Service Center Manager.
• Assist in supervising, training, and coaching transportation staff.
• Conduct safety checks and support corrective action initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth route operations.
• Assist in monitoring route budgets and tracking expenditures.
• Support relationship management with transportation vendors and stakeholders.
• Step in for the Service Center Manager as needed for meetings, communications, and operational oversight.
