Job summary

Southwest Coaches is seeking a Service Center Manager to oversee busing operations at a Minnesota service center. The role coordinates across departments, ensures safety, and manages budgets while driving policy development and regulatory compliance.

You will interact with drivers, staff, executives, and clients to uphold operational excellence. Ideal candidates have 5-7 years in transportation, strong leadership, and excellent problem-solving abilities, along with familiarity with safety

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in the transportation industry.
• Strong leadership experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with safety, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the transportation operations for a specific service center.
• Develop, implement, and monitor transportation policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Supervise and train transportation staff.
• Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth route flow.
• Monitor route budgets and make recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with transportation vendors and stakeholders.
