Job summary

TForce Freight is seeking a Supervisor, Service Center to coordinate day-to-day operations and supervise staff within the service center. This role analyzes operational data to improve productivity, service, and quality targets and collaborates with management to implement action plans.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and supervisory experience in transportation or logistics. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a transportation or logistics setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hiring and promotion decisions with other managers.
• Ensure adherence to labor agreements and address grievances.
• Participate in new hire orientation and conduct safety and quality training.
• Determine employee training needs and provide feedback and support.
• Conduct performance evaluations and resolve performance issues.
• Build labor relations with labor officials and unionized staff.
• Coach and develop staff using career development processes.
