Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking a Service Center Manager to lead daily operations across dock, P&D, linehaul, OS&D, and customer service at an onsite Atlanta facility. You will drive efficiency, service quality, safety, and profitability while building a high-performance culture and mentoring frontline and supervisory teams.

The role requires 1–2+ years of leadership in transportation/logistics, strong cost awareness, and excellent cross-functional collaboration with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or terminal operations.
• Strong financial and operational acumen, with experience managing cost drivers and revenue levers.
• Experience working with customers, vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Culture: Hire, coach, and develop service center employees and operational leaders; foster teamwork and urgency.
• Operations & Performance Management: Analyze revenue, labor, routing, claims, and service performance; identify efficiency opportunities.
• Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with customers, Account Managers, contractors, and drivers; resolve escalations and support pricing initiatives.
