Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service via digital channels (phone, video chat, text, email) for lending services.
• Interview applicants and gather loan information, resolve questions on applications.
• Collect and verify required loan documents including title and lien info.
• Approve/deny consumer loan and credit card requests within guidelines and limits.
• Educate members on loan terms and products (credit insurance, GAP, warranties).
• Assist with loans up to 30 days delinquent and with member financial check-ups.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 years of experience in Lending, ideally within a financial institution or a related industry such as lending, title companies or insurance
• Strongknowledge of lending principles, techniques andregulatory standards
• Proven ability to analyze data, strong multi-tasking skills and handle high volume of loan requests
• Exhibit the capability to make independent judgment within guidelines
• Demonstrates the ability to work independentlywhile displaying initiative and working within deadline timeframes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
• Professional communication skills across various platforms

JOB SUMMARY:

• Provides exceptional member service when answering inquiries and responding to members through digital communications—phone, video chat, text, and email to provide convenient access to lending services for members who may not be able to visit a branch in person
• Interviews applicant and request information for loans; resolving questions regarding application information
• Collects and verifies all required documentation for loan processing, including title and lien information
• Approve/Deny consumer loan and credit card request within preset guidelines and limits
• Educates members on the terms and conditions of the loan
• Responsible for offering and educating members about credit union products including but not limited to: credit insurance, GAP, and Warranty products
• Assist with loans up to 30 days delinquent
• Assist members with financial check-ups
