Job summary

MGX Equipment Services is seeking a Service Manager to own and guide the crane service organization in Kansas City, MO. You will coach technicians, align parts and warranty support, and set the pace for safe, precise execution.

The role reports to the Branch Manager and serves as the hub between customers, suppliers, and the sales/marketing team. Responsibilities include directing warranty negotiations, coordinating service bulletins and Product Improvement Programs, and prioritizing upcoming

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Technical degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years in heavy construction equipment management or product support.
Experience with mobile hydraulic and crawler cranes.
Familiarity with Manitowoc, National, and Grove cranes.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Own the service mission for MGX Equipment Services' crane service group and coach technicians.
Coordinate warranty, parts, and service bulletins to prevent recurring issues.
Grow product support revenue and coordinate warranty programs and PMI plans.
Lead safety culture and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Interface with customers, suppliers, and sales/marketing to align on service delivery.
Develop long-range service plans and manage department P&L.
