Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in service operations in a leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of forklifts or similar equipment is preferred.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of service technicians and support staff, recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervision to ensure productivity and professional development.
• Manage daily service department operations, including dispatching, scheduling, and work order management.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by ensuring timely service, clear communication, and effective problem resolution.
• Monitor technician performance, KPIs, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure OSHA and company standards compliance.
• Oversee service department budgets, control costs, and support service revenue growth.
• Coordinate with parts and operations teams to ensure availability of necessary components for repairs and maintenance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve overall service delivery.
