Job summary

Crane Company seeks a Service Center Sales Manager for the Baton Rouge Service Center to drive top-line growth, margin and customer experience in Gulf Region. You will lead a high-performing team of Technical Sales & Service Reps and Inside Sales Associates, owning the site’s sales plan and forecast.

You will partner with regional leaders to remove barriers, pursue key projects, and shorten lead times while maintaining strong customer relations and output quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical/engineering discipline or equivalent.
• 10+ years of technical sales experience including 5+ years in Service Sales.
• 5+ years of prior team lead or supervisory experience.
• Strong business acumen with ability to manage a sales P&L and forecast.
• Skilled in value-based selling and contract negotiation to win orders.

Responsibilities

• Own the Baton Rouge Service Center sales plan and lead the team to profitable growth across specialty CPE products (Xomox, WTA, Pacific HF) and services, scaling from ~3M (2026) to 10M by 2029.
• Set territory and account strategy; prioritize MRO growth, conversion accounts, and key project pursuits.
• Build, coach, and hold the team accountable to individual sales targets, funnel health, and quote-to-order conversion.
• Direct the Inside Sales team to progress the opportunity funnel and ensure timely follow-up on all inbound leads.
• Partner with operations to improve order booking and inventory positioning.
