Job summary

The Salvation Army in Sanford, NC seeks a detail-oriented leader to manage the Lee County Service Center's day-to-day operations and volunteer programs. You will coordinate with advisory bodies, engage with community partners, and supervise staff to deliver services effectively.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in management or related field and experience running programs, with a valid state driver’s license. This is a full-time on-site role offering benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business or related field and three years of experience managing staff and operations.
• Certifications: Valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Lee County Service Center.
• Works with the Service Center Advisory Council and Raleigh Area Command to determine scope of program and plans for program development.
• Meets with community, church and civic groups to help coordinate activities aimed at assisting The Salvation Army and its clients.
• Manages Advisory Council relationships in conjunction with the Area Commander.
• Instructs and trains staff and volunteers in the proper methods and procedures for performing work; checks and approves work in progress and upon completion for accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
