Job summary

The Salvation Army Durango Service Center in La Plata County, Colorado, seeks a Service Center Director to lead operations, manage budgets, and oversee client services.

You will supervise staff, interns, and volunteers, coordinate fundraising campaigns, and build partnerships with local agencies to extend essential social services in the community.

With a Bachelor's degree and proven leadership, you will drive compliance, reporting, and program development aligned with TSA's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field and supervisory experience.
• Experience with grant writing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Service Center, ensuring client assistance and staff activities align with TSA policies.
• Supervise staff, interns, and volunteers; manage HR records and performance reviews.
• Lead fundraising, manage the annual budget, and monitor financial reporting.
• Develop community relations; represent TSA at local agencies and events.
• Coordinate grants, reporting to DHQ, and ensure compliance with grant terms.
• Provide supervision and guidance for client services, EDS activities, and program development.
