Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Service Center Specialist to support service center and branch operations in Salt Lake City. You will handle day-to-day service duties, troubleshoot equipment by phone, in the shop, and at field locations, and help resolve contracts, billing, and administrative issues.

This role collaborates with customers, branch staff, and service technicians to ensure accurate documentation, timely payments, and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree.
• Light construction experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic math.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and CRM tools.
• Ability to work with moderate autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound phone calls, online inquiries, and customer walk-ins.
• Respond to customer requests, including quotes and orders.
• Enter orders and arrange deliveries per customer agreements.
• Support contract renewals, maintenance, and PO updates.
• Verify on-site technicians have current safety credentials.
• Maintain accurate time entries and billing for service engagements.
• Collaborate with customers, branch staff and service technicians.
