Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Service Center Specialist to support service center and branch operations. You will handle inquiries, quotes, orders, and billing while coordinating with customers, branch staff, and service technicians to ensure accurate documentation and timely resolution of issues.

The role emphasizes communication, collaboration, and the ability to work across multiple business units, maintaining safe and efficient service operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with related capability.
• Light construction experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and basic math skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, CRM apps, and IT business tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot logical processes and understand circuit testing.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, inquiries, and walk-ins.
• Process rental quotes and orders by various channels.
• Answer product questions and refer to service/sales when needed.
• Enter orders and arrange deliveries per agreements and freight terms.
• Support contract renewals, maintenance, and PO updates.
• Assist with billing, time entries, and payments on service orders.
• Coordinate with branch staff, technicians, and customers to resolve issues.
