Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Service Center Specialist to support service center and branch operations in Salt Lake City, UT. You will manage customer contacts, generate quotes, place orders, and assist with billing and administrative tasks across multiple business units.

Responsibilities include processing orders, renewals, coordinating deliveries, and assisting technicians. Strong communication, Office proficiency, and understanding of ERP/CRM tools are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related experience, or a Bachelor's degree.
• Light construction experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic math.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic logic and circuit testing concepts.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and IT business tools.
• Experience with Field Service and CRM applications like Microsoft Field Service or Microsoft CRM.
• Ability to work with moderate autonomy; limited guidance for complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound calls, inquiries, and walk-ins.
• Generate rental quotes and place orders by phone, in person, or email.
• Enter orders and arrange deliveries per contracts, including freight terms.
• Support contract renewals, maintenance, and PO updates.
• Process equipment rental, schedule pickups, and obtain customer sign-off.
• Assist service shop technicians by completing work orders and pulling parts.
• Maintain accurate time entries and billing for projects.
• Update customer payment information and ensure service orders include parts numbers.
• Verify on-site technicians have current safety credentials.
