Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Service Center Coordinator to manage work order entries, approvals, and escalations while maintaining data integrity in Yardi. You will train onsite teams, drive efficiency, and serve as a liaison between regional leadership and maintenance teams.

The role emphasizes accuracy, policy adherence, and continuous improvement in service center operations across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of customer service and administrative experience.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Existing Yardi knowledge is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Review and correct work order discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Input all required documentation for vendor and internal work orders prior to updating status; provide feedback on discrepancies.
• Assist in assigning work orders to Maintenance Technicians/Vendors based on skills and availability.
• Monitor that each technician is scheduled with a full day of work.
• Conduct daily reviews of open work orders for data accuracy and policy compliance.
• Assist with reviewing, creating, and receiving purchase orders for vendor work orders; ensure approved PO exists before repairs.
