Job summary

Preston Auto Group in Boardman, OH is seeking a friendly Service BDC Agent to handle all incoming calls, texts, and emails for our Service Departments, log interactions, and schedule appointments. You will actively reach out to guests due for maintenance or recalls and work to meet appointment and show-ratio goals.

Prior sales or automotive service experience is helpful, but not required. A high school diploma is mandatory, and bilingual Spanish is a plus in serving our diverse clientele.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in sales, customer service, or automotive is preferred but not required.
• Excellent phone skills with clear, distinct speech.
• Strong organizational skills and detailed note-taking ability.
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

Service Business Development Center Agent

Preston Auto Group is seeking a friendly, energetic Automotive Service BDC Representative to join our Service Concierge Team. Previous experience is preferred but not required.

As a ServiceBDC Agent, you're the first voice and often the first impression customers have of our dealership. You'll handle every incoming call, text, and email for our Service Departments, keep detailed notes on every interaction, and proactively reach out to guests who are due for maintenance or safety recalls. Success in this role means hitting call and appointment goals while delivering above-and-beyond service on every contact.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming phone calls, text messages, and emails for our Service Departments
• Confirm guest appointments
• Maintain and update guest personal and vehicle information
• Work with customers in a professional, well-spoken manner
• Proactively call customers to schedule appointments for overdue maintenance
• Proactively call customers to schedule appointments for safety recalls
• Meet and exceed all phone call, appointment, and appointment show-ratio goals
• Log all phone calls and appointments in BDC Tracker and log call notes in XTime
• Follow BDC scripts and guidelines on calls and emails

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
