Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Service Billing Coordinator to manage billing of service calls and maintenance contracts, prepare invoices, and ensure accuracy across the billing cycle. The role requires solid accounting/billing knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong communication and organizational skills.

You will collaborate with account managers, accounts receivable, and customers to resolve issues and improve billing processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic accounting and billing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently against deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with solid follow-up skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with service & accounting software such as Vista is preferred, not required.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Billing of Service Calls and Maintenance Contracts.
• Prepare timely and accurate invoices.
• Review billing accounts and resolve discrepancies or issues related to service charges, payment terms, or account history.
• Communicate with account managers and customers for accurate invoicing.
• Coordinate the billing cycle from service delivery to invoice generation.
• Ensure timely completion of all billing activities in all accounting software to include customer portals.
• Work closely with accounts receivable to review/resolve any billing issues.
• Generate billing reports.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing billing processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist service coordinators with customer support.
